Inspired by the Earl of Stradbroke this room conjures the feel of the grand tour age. The original Indian Colonial four-poster Emperor sized (8ft) bed, is typical of the 1800’s when the 2nd Earl and his brother (who were born in the Old Hall) would have embarked on their travels, whilst the fabrics and artefacts “tip their hat” to both the far eastern hunting habits of such travellers and to the 1st Earl’s 2000 guinea winner – Tigris.
The double aspect room enjoys Southerly and Easterly views across the grounds and surrounding countryside. A spacious, luxurious modern en-suite with a large walk-in shower, continues the grand tour theme; with wall coverings that depict ships of that Crimean era.
Total area of bedroom and en-suite approximately 47 square metres.
